On Greenbush Road in Rensselaer, The Ivy Spa grew out of massage therapist Melissa Sansone's practice, which a client urged her to move to a more prominent location. The spa has been open more than a decade and was a finalist for Best Massage Services in Capital District Living Magazine. Services cover Swedish and other massage, couples massage, facials, dermaplaning by licensed estheticians, body treatments, gentle waxing and natural nails. Skin care brands include SkinCeuticals and Hale & Hush. Spa packages, bridal packages and gift cards are sold. Open weekdays 9 to 8 and Saturday 9 to 4.
